May 21st ♥ 岡本健一 (Okamoto Kenichi)Okamoto-san joined the agency in the Summer of 1984. Since he didn’t want to be anybody’s back dancer he started taking guitar lessons from dai-dai-dai-senpai Nomura Yoshio (The Tanokin Trio), and got to debut with Otokogumi, as a guitarist.
He got married to model Katsue Nishi in 1992. One year later, the group disbanded and he was the only member to remain in the agency as he welcomed his first and only son. Okamoto Keito and him are the only father-child members of Johnny’s & Associates.
The year of his son’s debut in Johnny’s, he got divorced and received full custody of Keito. He is one of the most beloved and respected senpai within the agency, and he is still active in live stage-plays.

This is what I saw today at walmart… not gonna lie, I liked it! but… Remember when all those mags were full of Jonas stuff? I do. Remember when our boys weren’t that big in USA? I do.
